It features Top wetland delineator Dr. Terry Huffman; Madrona Marsh Wetland director Dr. Walt Wright; State Parks Ecologist Dr. Suzzanne Goode; Malibu Mayor Carolyn Van Horn and environmental attorney Steve Fleischli. It also features a Malibu protest rally and a canoe tour of the Madrona Marsh Wetland in Torrance, California.

The Flipside of Malibu is a Malibu Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation project, a docucrama focused on pollution in the Malibu Wetland and based on the UCLA 2000 Study. Flipside was written by Environmental Team leader Grant Neie, RN, Produced and Directed by Bob Purvey and stars Grant Neie, Zander Hartman and Josh Samuel.

This is a 5-minute excerpt from Bob Purvey's documentary on The Malibu Lagoon Task Force presentation of its recommendations for the historic wetland restoration to provide a holistic approach to solving the water pollution problems, based on the UCLA 2000 Study. The presentation is lead by State Parks Ecologist Dr. Suzanne Goode and made to the Malibu City Council, including Sharon Barofsky, Jeff Jennings, Ken Kearsley and Joan House. It also shows the 1995 50-year storm flooding the Cross Creek shopping center and Malibu Country Mart, as well as their parking lots.
